Their experience with grief, loss, mental illness and chronic illness allows them to connect with those who are struggling and offer to meet needs. Their goal is to connect with hurting individuals and offer time, resources and support. They are able to construct workshops on coping with hardship/stress, life-threatening and chronic illness, depression/anxiety, grief, restoration, and creating a retirement ministry. They research local solutions in your area to connect your congregation with additional help, and network with other Christians as well to offer assistance.

On the journey to restoration, they discovered the power of God's grace, what important spiritual relationships can bring to hurting people and the value of good counseling. Randy studied the bible and was baptized in 2001, Michelle was restored. They experienced years of joy but also years of trials, which included infertility, miscarriages, financial hardship, addiction, clinical depression and anxiety, grief, death (including 3 suicides) and cancer. They embraced the love of God and his people as they traversed these challenges and have a strong marriage and friendship. Their wealth of experience allows them to be compassionate, giving individuals who pray daily to be of use to others.

We believe that active discipleship continues long into retirement. Despite health challenges and physical limitations, we have been blessed with time and resources to serve smaller churches. Our goal is to connect with anyone in need and do what we can. We are not professionals, nor staff personnel and we do not attempt to go beyond our skill-set. What we do is fill gaps between suffering individuals and others. We offer informational workshops about mental illness, chronic illness, grief management, restoration, and retirement. We listen, we provide emotional support, and we continue to stay connected beyond our first visit. We will research and offer services in your area that may benefit you, and connect you with professionals in and outside of the church. We have walked hard, painful journeys and are glad to walk yours with you as well. We're also glad to come alongside churches for your local HOPE worldwide events and be extra hands and hearts in your city.
