Doug Geyer. Former Pastor. Doug, along with his wife Erica, had the privilege of working with all kinds of people from all kinds of backgrounds during their over 15 years in ministry. Sharing how to use various tools so hurt doesn’t eclipse hope is both a professional and personal passion. He has participated in Grief Recovery as well as understanding how to move forward through his depression by connecting with a therapist. Doug is also passionate about fitness and nutrition and how they play an important role in bringing emotional and spiritual peace.

Erica S. Brown, LSW, MSW. Erica is a Mental Health Therapist at Butler Behavioral Health. She has eight years of mental health experience, including working as a school social worker, group homes activities counselor, intensive community-based counselor and is currently working as a community outpatient therapist. Erica is experienced working with individuals with severe mental illnesses of all ages including working with individuals who struggle with suicidal and self-harming behaviors. She has battled mental illnesses, grief, and has also experienced abuse. She is passionate about healing and helping others heal by discovering/acknowledging their wounds, equipping them with coping/recovery skills, and supporting them through their healing journey.

Randy and Michelle Diekmeyer are the Mind, Body and Soul Event Facilitators, Midwest Compassion Ministry founders, Mentors. Michelle and Randy have been married for over 23 years and are co-founders of Midwest Compassion Ministry, which they developed to serve and meet the needs of their community and small churches. Their personal experience with grief, loss and chronic illness allows them to connect with hurting individuals and offer time, resources, and support. They have facilitated workshops on coping with hardship/stress, life-threatening and chronic illness, depression/anxiety, grief, and restoration, including Mind, Body, and Soul. Michelle has lived with mental illness since she was 10 years old. She is passionate about mentoring and supporting young women during the trials of life, and being a connector for those seeking mental and spiritual health resources.
