"My husband, Khai and I fully endorse Randy and Michelle Diekmeyer and their associates at Midwest Compassion Ministry! When we heard about their Mental Health Workshop in Charlottesville, VA, we knew we wanted to get connected and host them in our home church. Randy and Michelle dispensed excellent advice and guidance as they encouraged us to plan our own Mental Health Workshop using local professionals and community partners. In addition to numerous phone calls and emails, the Diekmeyers visited our church several times to meet our congregation and equip our ministry staff with helpful tools. Two of their associates from Midwest Compassion, Doug Geyer and Marjie Metz, participated in our Workshop and were incredibly practical and memorable in their presentations. We are deeply thankful to the Diekmeyers and Midwest Compassion Ministry -- we know their time and attention have left a valuable impression here at Potomac Valley Church and beyond!"
"Midwest Compassion Ministries really met our unique needs for coaching, support, and training in the world of mental health ministry for our small church and community in Charlottesville. VA. They brought experts together with our experts to deliver a one day workshop in our community that helped identify local mental health resources, defined the spectrum of potential challenges and definitions of a variety of mental health challenges, and coached how to access professional and community resources. They also provided content and coached on other well-being topics like; coping, grieving, self-care, and mentoring the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of friends and loved ones. It was a wonderful experience for our small church and community!"
"On September 1 & 2, 2023 our church fellowship had the pleasure of hosting a mental health workshop provided by Midwest Compassion Ministry. We supplied the meeting facilities and advertisement. All other aspects of the workshop were managed by the MCM mental health team. Overall, our members and guests were quite pleased stating "there was a lot of helpful information, I'm glad I came". I personally appreciate the thorough and relatable way information was communicated by each of the speakers. The information was spiritually based, practical and applicable. Additionally, recent research findings were discussed as well as resource avenues available for further support. Fellowship was rich and the team was available for more specific questions and answers. We recommend Midwest Compassion Ministry highly and would consider hosting them again in the future. "
"Compassion. Expertise. A dynamic approach to mental health, combined with a lot of passion! Randy and Michelle Diekmeyer have developed an excellent mental health resource for all churches during this difficult time in our country.
As I attended their workshop in Alaska recently, I was impressed with the knowledge, passion, and expertise their team brought to the audience. I walked away encouraged, with more knowledge, and confident that members of our churches were getting the help they needed in mental health. The In Motion Counseling ministry enthusiastically endorses Randy & Michelle‘s work and believe it is a wonderful resource for all churches to utilize."
